Happy First Day of School!

Today the newest members of Team Gibbas were welcomed into their fourth grade classroom.  It was a busy day learning to navigate our new classroom and building, learning new classroom routines, and enjoying some get-to-know-you activities.

We are looking forward to a great year!

Our specials this year will be:
Mondays - ART
Tuesdays - LIBRARY
Wednesdays & Thursdays - GYM
Fridays - MUSIC

No School on Friday, August 30th or Monday, September 2nd. Enjoy the four day Labor Day weekend!  We will see everyone again on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Oh Canada!

On Tuesday, June 11th Team Gibbas students transformed our classroom into a Canadian museum.  Students taught visitors about the Northern Lights, Canadian Sports, Canadian People, The Inuit, The Arctic, The First Nations, French Canada, and The Animals of Canada.  Each exhibit that students created was interactive so visitors could make puzzles, watch a puppet show, dine at a French bakery, participate in a sports game show, make beaded First Nations bracelets, watch the Northern Lights, play a Canadian Kahoot, and build an inukshuk.
