Do you think you can make a volcano erupt by mashing a button? Last week on Thursday, September 26th we made volcanoes erupt. This is how it started. We colored volcano pictures the day before, then Mrs. Klipfel came with the iPad cart. The room was loud and full of excitement as we pressed the icon of the app Quiver. “Mine's still not working!”́ "Mine too!” everyone exclaimed.Then once it finally worked we held the ipad over the picture and a there a three dimensional volcano popped up on the screen. Everyone was in shock how a colored picture could come to life on a screen. We decided to do this activity because we were studying earth's moving features.Everyone was walking around to see other people’s volcanoes erupt.We thought it was so cool that we could take the quiz about volcanoes. “When saying wow that's so cool”. We thanked Mrs. Klipfell for the amazing learning experience and making volcanoes come to life. Then she was on her way. And that was the end of our volcanic experience.
