LED Cards

During the month of March we have been studying electricity and magnetism. One of our essential questions is: how does an electrical circuit work?  We have been exploring this question with a variety of hands-on experiences.

Today we visited the CLIC lab and worked with Mrs. LaRussa to create LED cards with a simple circuit.

We had a lot of fun creating our LED designs!

Massachusetts Science Frameworks, Physical Sciences 6:  Recognize that electricity in circuits requires a complete loop through which an electrical current can pass and that electricity can produce light, heat, and sound.
